Hi Cindy, I am new to Polymer Clay Jewelry and just fascinated by your tutorials. You are so full of wonderful helpful information. I am trying to take it all in. I am retired and not ready to get old. I have so many ideas, my mind is overflowing. I just found you today, November 16, 2008 reading about your recipes for color. Is it too late to join your membership club? I will be checking on your website daily. Thank you so much. ~Dianne @ Selling Jewelry To Niche Markets

This treasure hunt has been so informative for this newby in clay. I have all my clay and supplies stored at my moms and on the weekends we get together and have “Clay Dates”. 4 generations of clayers. Mom, me, my daughter Jennifer and then my 2 grand daughters from my other daughter that I am raising. The prize would be a wonderful tool to teach the girls, 6 and 4. Thank you again. ~Jeanie @ Comment Received Via Email

Member Benefits 003-4: Tips Baking

Polymer Clay Membership SiteGood ideas, I hadn’t actually thought to recover already baked beads with fresh clay. I save all of my mistakes thinking someday I may find a use for them. ~Nora @ Scrap Polymer Clay

The tip about baking face down makes all kinds of sense but I never thought about it. As Yakov says “you will now”. ~MJ @ Polymer Clay Pendants

Great tip!! Thanks for this one! It is very hard to know if it is “done”….so I will bake longer and be safe!! ~Kam @ Baking Beads

Thank you for this article. I was trying to make my son in law a pendant celebrating the upcoming birth of his and my daughter’s first child (a girl). I had trouble getting it off my tile and it would stick. After using card stock to put it on I created a pendant for him that has his name on one side and then used liquid clay to write my granddaughter’s name (Aubrey) on the other side and baked it without any problems. ~Annie @ Flat Polymer Clay

Member Benefits 003-3: Sculptural

Polymer Clay Membership SiteHi Cindy: Thanks for that review on “Mixed Media Polymer Clay Mosaics”… that book is very appealing to me. I love to use mosaics for the bases of my sculptures and I do think I could use some of her methods… off to purchase another new book!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks ~Bonnie @ Moasic Crafts For Polymer Clay Artists

Beautiful work. It’s amazing the things you can do with polymer clay. I am learning from you guys all the time – so small and intricate. ~Peter @ Jewelry Making Classes

Pain in the “clay” is right! Even as a sculpter of dragons, this new clay is troublesome. I once left a dragon to sit for a couple of days to return to it and find his arms had melted off and fused with legs, and his head went somewhere else also :) (I guess it could be a new breed). Leaching is a pain, but it does work. THANKS for letting us all know. ~Angela @ Premo Polymer Clay

Member Benefits 003-2: Jewelry and Projects

Polymer Clay Membership SiteCindy – I love them! I’m glad to find a kindred spirit who isn’t afraid to wear something a little (a lot?) different. Couple of questions. Did you use translucent clay? It’s a beautiful effect. Secondly: how do you prevent the piece from falling off the eye pin? I’ve had some sad experiences where I’ve lost my work when it came off the pin. ~Maria @ Luna Lovegood Radish Earrings

Hi Cindy, I want to thank you for the videos. You asked me how I found you and to tell you honestly, I’m not quite sure. I googled “how to make polymer clay beads” and naturally came up with zillions. Now I either found you thru one of the links or I found your name at one of the sites I visited. Those are the only 2 ways I could have found you. I’m glad I did though as I have been playing around with polymer for a little over a year and have actually made and sold some jewelry. I want to continue with my art and that is why I was exploring different types of beads and how they are made. You have helped me with the air bubble problem, etc.. I put you in my address book and hope I can contact you from time to time. Sincerely, ~Christine @ Comment Received Via Email
