What a wonderful easy tip. I am going to try it out tonight on a piece and see what it does. Thanks so much for passing this info on. I really appreciate your site and wish I had time to try everything out. ~Diana >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Oven
Hi Cindy, I think I figured it out. I read all your info and tried again. I used a much lower setting and longer time. The piece came out fine. You were right about those knobs. They are very inaccurate! Thanks again! ~Tommye >> This comment was originally posted here: How to Make Beads
Hi Cindy, My second experience is a much better one. My beads are not perfect yet (will they really ever be? no matter) but they baked to nice and hard in the baking rack, 1 hr at 265′. I used a different oven thermometer and it registered just like the oven. So your previous thoughts on my first experience that the thermometer might have been faulty was right on. The time and temperature you suggest really works when the equipment is right. Thanks for your help Cindy. I am still practicing and looking forward to my next venture. ~Joyce >> This comment was originally posted here: Baking Beads

I am a member of Cindy’s site. I stumbled on her accidentally while looking for a way to make poly clay faces for a beading project. She is not only responsive and amazingly generous with her information, but a fantastic teacher. I finally “get” some of the techniques I had been reading about and trying to grasp for a long time. I am a subscriber to her site and videos and feel her charge to be a small price to pay for all the information available. ~Rita >> This comment was received via email.
Cindy, I am so honored to have a talented artist such as yourself take the time to write about my art dolls. Making the bases for my dolls is as much fun as sculpting the dolls and I am glad I could offer some tips to other artists. There are so many wonderful mediums out there for us all to experiment with; it definitely keeps our art exciting and certainly not boring. Thanks again and so glad we met. ~Bonnie >> This comment was originally posted here: Meet Polymer Clay Doll Artist Bonnie Jones
My impetus to learn how to effectively use polymer clay came from my interest in multi-media collage. It’s wonderful that polymer clay is so versatile. My hope in learning different methods of using polymer clay is to be able to create handmade, unique embellishments. As a photographer, I wanted to learn how to transfer photos to polymer clay. I would also like to learn to make molds of objects so I can create replicas in polymer clay. However, a bonus is that I’ve been inspired to make some handmade pieces for my new interest in making my own jewelry! ~Karen >> This comment was originally posted here: Mixed Media Polymer Clay Projects

Love the site…now a library member, especially now that I am layed off from my job. Hoping for work soon to support my polymer clay habit… it has been very therapeutic. Or maybe sell a few beads now that I am getting better at the canes. :) ~Jackie >> This comment was originally posted here: Making Polymer Clay Canes
Wow cindy! I went to the clay table and tried it right out. I love the Skinner blend but it always took so long to do it and with my arthritic hands I would end up in pain before I was even finished. This one is so much faster and easier, thank you so much for sharing it with us. I will always think of, and refer this one as the “Leitz blend. Much mahalo from Hawaii. ~Norieta >> This comment was originally posted here: Lietz Teardrop Method for Color Blending Polymer Clay
I have a 14 year old Pomeranian with cushing’s disease. It is terminal for her and I’m just trying to keep her as happy as possible until her time. I am planning to cut some of her hair for a pendant inclusion. I had seen this book before and I thought it was a wonderful idea. Thanks for sharing it. ~Kim >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Memorial Jewelry

Just a beginner here. Since my color mixing hasn’t worked well (your recipe cards will be a boon). Thanks for the videos, Cindy, because sometimes it really helps to see a thing done. ~Cariad >> This comment was originally posted here: Recipe Cards for Mixing Polymer Clay Colors

First of all, I want to thank you Cindy again for all the help you gave me and how patient you were when I had some trouble with my username and password. Well I’m all squared away now and very happy with my charter membership and am enjoying all the videos I couldn’t get access to before.
