You have made my day!! I love birdhouses and I love making little charm type items. I know I’ll end up making these by the dozens. I have a pile of little teapots and flip flops sitting in front of me right now and would love to see you make tutes on those. Your ideas continue to amaze me and bring a smile to my face. ~Fran-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Sculptural Birdhouse Beads

Dear Cindy, I wanted to say thanks for the tips in your videos, I’ve been working with Polymer Clay for years, I make my own custom cake toppers. I do caricatures of real people from photos, cartoons and even animals, cartoon and real. I really enjoy it and have gotten quite good at it, but I didn’t know how much of a difference sanding and polishing my pieces could make, and I now make sure I work my clay completely before I start. Thanks again. ~Kelly-K >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Caricatures

Recently, I’ve been trying to finish up another project, a sculpture, and have not had my hands in my beads, but am still reading and saving videos. Be back soon. Keep up the good work. Always enjoy reading you, Cindy. You are so filled with ideas. You amaze me!! Hugs. ~Lynda-D >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Beads and Canes

BELGIUM: I’m a member to your weekly video tutorials and i have just purchased the beginners video course. This by the way is an excellent learning tool!! ~Debbie-E >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Library

EINDHOVEN, NETHERLANDS: I am Romanian and moved to Netherlands 5 years ago to study. I discovered polymer clay this year in March and since became addicted. I am married, have a full time job in a technical domain actually, and I use clay as a creative outlet, it helps to fight the daily stress. I am lucky because my husband is very supportive with clay work, his hobby is photography and the pictures I sent you and on the website are made by him. I discovered you and your wonderful lessons early this summer and this event definitely gave a boost to my creative efforts. Only recently, I had the courage to make my clay work public and I am very grateful for the support you offer. The Polymer Clay Tutor is such a warm community and so nice to be in. I was not very active in this community, I admit, but I do read all the blog and all the comments :). I tried everything: watercolor beads, flowers, book beads (these are very lovely) but my all time favorites are the raku beads. You are such an inspiration! … I am only a beginner and am very anxious to hear what the members of this community will say about my work. I mean this community has seen a lot of polymer clay work. So far I created jewelry only for myself and give them away as gifts. Lately, my friends were telling me that I should try to sell them but I am not sure. I would try that I am afraid that I am biased because they were made mostly for myself. So I would appreciate any suggestions to improve my work. ~Ileana-B >> This comment orig posted here: Selling Your Polymer Clay Jewelry

DENMARK: Cindy, I am from Denmark and discovered polymer clay last summer. I’ve always loved colors and wanted to create something, but I didn’t know what. I tried sewing, knitting, painting – it was fun but not quite it. Polymer clay has become a passion – an addiction. Never before have I been so engrossed in a craft. Then your “Puffy Bead” video arrived and fired my imagination even further! Thank you for all your inspiration! Now, I always look forward to your Friday videos!! ~Hanne-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Puffy Beads

SO MUCH INSPIRATION: Cindy, I couldn’t be more glad to have found your site. You (and everyone in our clay community) have given me so much inspiration. I can’t thank you all enough. I might have given up clay myself if it weren’t for you Cindy, and all the rest of you here. God Bless You All. ~Lisa-W >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Inspiration

STRUGGLES AND JOYS: What a beautiful gift you have given me today. To know that even you are vulnerable to doubt and insecurity in your creative process gives me courage to push harder through those #3 and #6 moments I experience all too often. I could have written this (though not so beautifully) and I thank you for capturing in words the struggles and joys that for me, naturally go along with turning those little blocks of clay into something beautiful. ~Elizabeth-S >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Artists

WHY POLYMER CLAY: I think it is the instant gratification that polymer clay gives me more then any other medium. Although some techniques require hours and sometimes days of effort and concentration, I love to be able to sit down and within minutes become inspired to create something new and unique. For instance, I never create a “Valentines Line” but last week I spent the evening at the clay table just playing with my little girl and the next I know I have more then 20 pieces with a distinct Valentine’s Day theme! ~Shannon-L >> This comment was originally posted here: Making Polymer clay Beads

It blows my mind how you can keep coming up with ideas! God Bless You and your family. Best videos on the web, hands down. ~Sandy-T >> This comment was originally posted here: Butterfly Wing Cane

It’s mind boggling to think there are people out there that don’t realize your site is the BEST out there. Your videos are clear and very informative. I own Polymer Clay books, although I have learned from them they don’t even come close to what I’ve learned from watching your tutorials. The other great reason for being a member is the fact that you are constantly trying new products such as the Micromesh pads, Ultra Dome etc. that keeps us on the top of the Polymer Clay world. With out you and Doug, life as a clayer would be so mundane. You encourage all of us to explore all possibilities and push the envelope to be creative. The cost to be a member is so minimal for what we get. We definitely get a bang for our buck!! Besides, there aren’t any other sites where you can state a clay problem your having and get so much helpful suggestions.  Everyone here has been there done that so as a newcomer everyone takes you under their wings to help you to bloom in the new and wonderful craft of claying. ~Jeanne-C >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutor

Hi Cindy, this is the coolest. I have learned so much from your videos. I finally got sanding down to a science, thanks to the micromesh pads. The faux agate video has also helped me tremendously. My beads are really coming along. Thank you so much for all your videos. It is taking my jewelry designs to another level. ~Ifama-J >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutorials

Well, decided to give polymer clay a try again. Got sidetracked with other things but recently started reading the blog and watching all the videos again. I was just going to start to make the color recipes and like so many here, Cindy’s color mixing video will now make that task easier. I am so glad to read Cindy’s remarks regarding her reason for starting The Polymer Clay Tutor and that was to help beginners.  I can see that this is the best place to be-))) ~Catherine-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Mixing Custom Color Recipes

Hi Cindy, I purchased your beginner course about 3 months ago (which is about when I started working with polymer clay) so I can honestly say you have been with me from the beginning! What a godsend your tutorials have been! Your instructions are clear and concise and so very easy to follow. As you know, when I was done with the beginner class, I had to know more! I became a member and I have purchased almost all of your back issues. I have made flower canes that I could not believe I would ever be able to do. I have made Kaleidoscope canes and showed them to my sons and they look in wonder and say “how DO you do that?” I just smile and say Cindy showed me how. I have a friend that started using PC several months before me. I am proud to say that I have surpassed her current skill level and I owe it all to you! (Okay, just a teeny bit competitive there, but she started it, LOL). I tried your Blend and Switch tut yesterday and can’t wait to finish them. I just received my UV light and resin, so that is today’s project! Also, even though I’ve “graduated” from the beginner’s course, I still refer back to these videos when I can’t remember exactly what you said. I am also so very impressed with how quickly you respond to everyone’s questions (including mine) and if you aren’t immediately available, someone on the blog will be more than happy to jump in and help. Keep up the great work! I can’t wait to see what this week’s tutorial will be!! Very sincerely. ~Laura-Z >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutorials

I am new to polymer clay work. This Aurora technique is awesome!!! It alone was worth the money I paid for the videos. I can’t wait to view the others. Keep up the great work! ~Dorene-T >> This comment was originally posted here: Aurora Technique – Polymer Clay Tutor Exclusive
