Member Benefits 047-4: Beginners

Polymer Clay Membership SiteHi everyone, I just joined this site yesterday and I’m LOVING it!!! I’ve worked a little bit with polymer clay, but I consider myself a beginner. I’ve been looking at different posts and comments, and I think it’s great how everyone works together to problem solve and figure out better ways to use this medium. And everyone seems so friendly. I’m so excited about learning more about polymer clay, and I look forward to getting to know all of you! :-) Happy Claying! ~Kat-W >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Video Library

As if the two of you are not generous enough already. Now this how thoughtful to share the Teardrop Blend Shift video with everyone. I have told all my friends I have been trying to convince they need to try Polymer Clay. If this doesn’t convince them nothing will. There Loss. I have tried just about every medium and craft there is out there and this is the best by far and You and Doug are a very BIG reason for that. I have come a long way since that first video. I have them all from the beginners on. I suggest anyone who joins even if you have clayed for awhile, purchase the beginners videos. I still refer to them from time to time. Cindy your tutorials are worth there weight in gold and I value you them just that much. Anyone out there thinking about joining don’t think just do it join today the cost is $3 something a month and you get 4 tutes a month. I don’t even know where you can get one tutorial for that amount do you?????? To beat that if you have any questions about it, they will get answered by Cindy or one of your fellow clayers. We are one big family here all ready to help each other when we can. You won’t find anything better out there. Thanks again Cindy and Doug. Many Uuuuggggs. ~Peggy-B >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Tutorials

Dear Cindy – Just wanted to let you know that I think your polymer clay video tutorials are just great! The instructions are very clear. I’m sure any beginner in clay would benefit from watching them. Thanks for the time and care you put into your teaching. ~Sara-T >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Jewelry

I’m new to polymer clay creations, and your videos are helping a tremendous amount. You’ve been a great inspiration. Thanks! ~Patricia-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Making Calla Lily Beads

Thanks so much Cindy for your response and for your “beginners guide” on a starting point. I have read through most of the blog entries and do find that everyone here is supportive of each other. I just finished making all of my color chips and made 2 additional squares, 1 to put with your color palettes and the other to put with it’s color category. I will try really hard to start from the beginning and not jump to the more difficult ones, but you know Cindy you make them all look easy! You are a great teacher and I am trying to encourage my daughter to sign up too. Thanks for being an inspiration to us all. ~Catherine-R >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Mixing Custom Color Recipe

Hi Cindy. Thanks for your reply. I have been making rose petal beads from just the mush of rose petals simmered on the stove top. They turn out wonderful and the smell is amazing. It is just so much work and it takes forever… the drying takes weeks. I found your website after a google search. I love your method of adding the dried roses to the clay. I got so excited I thought I could start making them right away. I will get myself some clay and buy the beginners workshop and explore what tools I need to create the beads right. I’ve pressed flowers for years and so many dried petals. I am excited to start my journey into polymer clay. Thanks again for your help. ~Pam-B >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Rose Petal Beads for Loved Ones

Hi Cindy, Great videos! I am new to polymer clay and enjoy the more personal feel of a video over following along in a book. Happy creating!. ~Eva-K >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Videos
