Breathtaking!!!! I love everything about this…the colors and the way they work together in the cane, the design of the beads, the copper stamens, and the bail. Thanks for the up in coming new spring palette…gorgeous colors as usual. One of these days, you will have to explain how you play around with color to come up with these beautiful colors. Do you just sit and look at colors and then play with each of the colors and add a little bit of this color and that color to come up with them? I guess I haven’t played with color enough. Thank you for sharing the full video. It was very interesting. I have been making Skinner blends and I always enjoy short cuts. One can always appreciate a process that goes from 20-25 time through the pasta machine to maybe 7-10. Great time saver in prepping for work. Leaves more time for creativity. I don’t know how you keep up with everything but I am glad you do. I am not perfect when it comes to making everything you have taught us but I have tried with some success about 85% of the beads. Not so dedicated when it comes to the colors. Maybe if you do a 2nd contest you should test us on our colors also. I definitely need motivation when it comes to trying to experiment with the color recipes. I write them all down and have them all organized by color group. Just need to make myself take the time to try them. Was sick all weekend and most of this week so I haven’t even got a chance to enter the first contest yet. But I am still going to try to get some made up and sent in. I do have the motivation just not the energy or steady hands right now to try. Don’t count me out yet though. Great colors they are like your tuts haven’t seen one I haven’t liked yet. You definitely have what it takes to inspire your students Cindy. Beautiful palette Cindy and so relaxing. Thanks so much for the many palettes, you make it so vivid with the descriptions and stories. I was born and grew up in Mumbai, and there are a lot of coconut palms. Every part of the coconut palm is used. The leaves for roofs in the villages and woven into trays, baskets, the coconut shell made into ladles, the coir used in mattresses.
