Wow! This is soooooo cool! Cindy, I can hardly wait to get your beads – I’m in a slight state of shock of winning these – I always hope to win, but until now I never have … I recognize most of these beads from the tutorials. It is going to be extra great to have the ‘real’ finished product to guide me in my attempts … I still get butterflies in my stomach when I realize that I actually won this fabulous collection of beads! ~Carolyn-F >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutor Beads

Thank you once again Cindy! I have been playing around with the idea of posting images on the internet for some time, but have been fiddling around and felt no great urge to work out how to set something up since I wanted to dedicate all my free time to polymer… then along came “Phase 3″ of your bead give away contest! I am now the proud owner of a little blog and have also learnt how to do links thanks to your helpful input. This is great fun! ~Susan-B >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutor Bead Giveaway (Phase 3)

I wouldn’t have tried the watercolour beads if it hadn’t been for the competition, and I love those now. ~Silverleaf >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Give Away

If you decide you want to become a member at Cindy’s polymer clay tutor library, it’s only $9.95 for 3 months! You get 12 brand-new videos, and even more color recipes. It’s an incredible deal. I used to wander around this blog, looking and reading, but I didn’t join. Once I finally did, though, I was so mad at myself for waiting! I missed out on a lot of tut’s that I could’ve seen for less than a buck! Anyway, at least I’m a member now, and it’s really cool. Members can participate in contests like the one going on now, where you can submit photos of your work. Cindy spotlights the photos and members are eligible to win a set of beads made by Cindy! ~Phaedrakat >> This comment was originally posted here: CraftSmart Polymer Clay

Whoever wins this contest will be lucky indeed! As so many have said already, though, this is one of those opportunities where everyone who participated won – I can’t tell you how many times I have gone back to the photos. I am richer for having seen how my “classmates” interpreted what Cindy has given us. Thank you all. ~Elizabeth-S >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Giveaway Contest

I am drooling!!!! I wish I did not have to go to my Day Job today. ~Anna-S >> This comment was originally posted here: Win Some Polymer Clay Beads

The first time I made clay beads before signing up with a membership to your videos, I just took some clay rolled it into beads, baked and buffed them a bit. I had absolutely no idea of the whole process. I made a necklace and it looked alright but when I look at it now compared to the beads I submitted to the recent bead giveaway contest, gosh – what a difference! ~Cheryl-H >> This comment was originally posted here: Crackled Ink Technique

This is so cool! Thanks Cindy! I just love this website… I feel as if I’ve joined a big polymer clay family with all the comments and advice received in your blogs! ~Hobokenmary >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Giveaway Contest (Phase 2)

Let the fun begin. Having your beads up close and personal would be a tremendous bonus. See how you have things assembled up close would be of benefit to all who make jewelry. Tried tested methods are always the best. Looking forward to this. ~Illaya-B >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Giveaway

Cindy and Doug, thanks so much for taking the time to design a fun way for folks here to showcase their wonderful work. I know it takes a lot of time to get all on board with formats set and working, but, once that’s done, then it’s just a glorious picture share for all of us to oogle either here, or on Facebook. And an inspiration for us to create and challenge ourselves, which itself is a great way to show the results of learning new techniques here. I love it. ~Jocelyn-C >> This comment was originally posted here: Facebook Polymer Clay Contest

Beautiful pieces of work everyone! Can’t wait to see more pictures. Thanks Cindy for your hard work on coming up with some great tutorials. And this is such a great way to show what everyone else is doing with the tutorials. All, I can say is that I am glad to be included with this talented bunch of artists! Wishing everybody the best of luck! ~Lupe-M >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Giveaway Contest

Bead Giveaway Winner: @Lupe Meter – Congratulations! You lucky gal, I have this feeling you are going to love each and every one of Cindy’s beads… *big smile* Way to go! @Cindy, thanks so much for having the contest! It got me even more excited about polymer clay and now I can’t wait to see what we get to do for the next contest…!!! @Everyone – What beautiful work you all turned in, you’ve all inspired me. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – this community of clay artists rocks and I’m so very proud to be a part of it!!! Clay On, ~Lisa-W // Congratulations Lupe, enjoy your prize. It was a wonderful experience with so many inspirations to keep us all moving and improving. Thanks to Cindy and Doug, you’re the BEST. ~Joyce-M // Congratulations Lupe – you’re so lucky. Please do take a photo and enjoy creating beautiful jewelery. Congratulations to all of you who entered this contest with your beautiful creations. We have all learned from each other and found friends. Cindy and Doug, thank you so much too for the incredible videos, teaching and sharing your time and talent. God bless everyone! ~Cheryl-H // Congratulations Lupe. Want to share any of those beads? LOL. Thanks, Cindy, for a fun project. I am now motivated to try every project you teach us. Looking for another challenge. ~Loretta-C // WOW!!!!!!!!Lupe, congratulations!!!!!! You must be so excited!!!!! Enjoy all of Cindy’s beautiful creations. Now you can see right up front how everything is made. I know you will treasure them. I feel like I was a winner, too. I learned soooo much. I made four tutorials, emailed them to Cindy, got my picture up on the blog and uploaded pictures on Facebook. All of this was for the first time. I have Cindy, Doug, and Phaedrakat to Thank!!!!!! I couldn’t have done it without them. Phaedrakat helped me so much that I feel like I’ve known her forever. A special THANKS to Phaedrakat for spending so much time helping me. This was really so much fun, seeing everyone’s work and everyone talking to each other. I love this place!!!!!!! Cindy and Doug take a deep breath and relax, plus feel proud for all that you both have created. Thank you so much everyone. Luv Honey. ~Helen-S // Again, congratulations, Lupe! I think if we are each honest with ourselves we are all just a tad jealous (as a couple of you have actually said), but at the same time we can congratulate ourselves on the growth and accomplishments that came about in us because Cindy initiated this contest. And we can congratulate Cindy for it has been a great success. We must each bookmark the entry page … if we ever need additional inspiration, all these wonderful entries will certainly provide it! Thank you each and everyone! ~Carolyn-F // I don’t see a comment from Lupe yet – does she know that she’s won? If not, this is going to be a huge surprise! I’m so very happy for her, and of course I’m jealous, too. But I think she’s very deserving. Her pieces are beautiful, and she was very good about answering questions about her work. (She might have made Helen Breil a sale or two on texture plates, too.) She was also quick to complement others. I think everyone did a tremendous job – with their creations, with the compliments to each other, and by providing inspiration to all of us! Thanks Cindy and Doug, for a fabulous contest, and for an opportunity to get to know each other better through art! ~Phaedrakat // ~Various Members >> These comments were originally posted here: Polymer Clay Winner Lupe Meter

I have to say, this contest is the coolest thing ever! I’m really excited about it – I think everyone’s a winner because we all got to show off something pretty, and got tons of inspiration and pleasure from everyone else’s work.
Before I even came to the blog today I wondered if you would try to April Fools us. You would have to try some other trick Cindy we know better. I don’t for a minute think anyone would ever try to get rid of you either. You should of tried something like upping our fees. We all know you deserve more than what we are paying you each month. I sure would like to know what pamagela said in Italian. All fooling set aside, I for one am happy you are hooked on PC and even happier you share your love for it with all of us. April fools around my house is kind of blah now that the kids are all grown and out of the house. It used to be a watch out look and see who is going to pull the best one this year. Oh how I miss those days. All of you with young ones enjoy each and every moment and April Fools you have left. Have a happy and safe April Fools everyone. Uuuuuugggggs to all. ~Peggy-B >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay April Fools

I am so glad the contest based on the Vol #14 Back Issue!!!!! I can’t wait to get started. This really is a great way to know what people are getting from your videos, and such an inspiration to get out that clay and play!!! Good luck to everyone, I know I am going to enjoy seeing all the pics of everyone’s work. It will be interesting to see what each of us gets from a certain lesson. Cindy, you rock!!!! ~Tiffany-M >> This comment was originally posted here: Win Some Polymer Clay Beads

Completely agree!!!! This has been so much fun. First doing the techniques and then seeing everyone’s work. I feel like I’m in art school again, which I love! I feel young and inspired and excited about creating so I definitely feel like a winner! ~Melinda-H >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Giveaway Wrap Up

I would never have had the courage to show anyone my efforts if not for Cindy stressing that it’s about participating and not about who’s best. I have certainly learned a grate deal and have enjoyed it so much that I hope Cindy will do it again. ~Carole-H

Those beads are beautiful. Cindy sure has inspired a lot of artistic creativity. She sure has inspired me. Wish we could all get together for a week and do clay. Cindy, do you have room for all of us up there? ~Bonnie-K

One of the most fascinating things about this contest is seeing where everyone is from … and sometimes I can even see the country influence … like with 059 Susan Bates from Florence, Italy. I love that city – and your work! And even from different parts of this county, like Lupe Meter’s AZ influence. Your work is gorgeous. I mustn’t leave out those in the UK and Canada – all fabulous! We even have members from other parts of Europe and from ‘Down Under’. Cindy you have done such a wonderful thing bringing together this community from literally all over the world! ~Carolyn-F

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Cindy for her teaching, sharing and getting us all excited about this contest and getting us motivated to get claying. I know we’ve all enjoyed this immensely. Thank you to all of you too; I feel we’ve got closer to each other through this creative bond we have. Look forward to many more contests and chatting with all you guys out there. I’m a music teacher (piano) and I’m off to a power up gospel music workshop Friday – Saturday and we are actually performing with the choir on Sunday. ~Cheryl-H

What an awesome group of talented artists! Beautiful! I love the variety, colors, everything! I’ve been having some good results with the torn paper watercolor and smooth Raku techniques; will get mine submitted. Still plugging away with the deep crackle and Jupiter beads. I will persevere! LOL Thank you so much for this opportunity Cindy! ~Dawn-B

Wow! What a talented group of pc’ers!! I love how each of you took Cindy’s lessons and applied personal twists. All of the pieces are beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for the opportunity to view your work. ~Elizabeth-S

Oh my, what gorgeous pieces. Can’t believe the talent in this forum. Looking at all of them gives me incentive to spend more time with my clay. ~Freda-K

I love everyone’s work!!!! Most of all, Cindy Lietz, and Hubby. What can I say!!!!!!! I think I’ve said it all. You are so appreciated!!!! Look at all the talented people you have made. You made me complete four sets that I would have never completed. You made me put an avatar on line and email photos. I didn’t know how to do any of this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, Thank you Thank you!!!!! Plus, you take away my pain. What more can I say? Luv You both, Honey. ~Helen-S

I can hardly wait to see more photos. This is a wonderful experience and I want to say a HUGE “Thank You” to Cindy for taking on this contest. Cindy, you give so much of yourself and your talents and it has been said many time that you are appreciated. Know that there aren’t enough words to say it all. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME is what you are. All the photos are just wonderful. I keep going back over them. There is so much inspiration here. Thank you all for sharing. If anyone is still hesitant, please take the step and join in the fun. It is exciting! ~Joyce-M

I just want to say that this contest has been a wonderful thing for all of us. No matter who wins the beads, we are all winners because we have stretched our minds and tried techniques that we might not have had the courage to attempt otherwise. Not only did this encourage me to try the techniques in Volume 14, but it also inspired me to try out what Cindy teaches us every week in the latest video. I can’t tell you all how much I am enjoying polymer clay since I found Cindy – I am totally obsessed! The new pieces of jewelry that I’ve made with polymer clay beads have gotten quite a bit of attention when I wear them. I used to get a few compliments on my jewelry. Now, my jewelry causes a commotion! ~Linda-K

I’ve emailed my photo entries to you Cindy. Thanks so much for having this contest. It’s really motivated me… it’s done precisely what you wanted it to do!! *lol* You’ve motivated quite a few of us from the looks of the current entries. I’m so glad I found you and the rest of our clay community!!! One of your many grateful students, ~Lisa-W

Please don’t feel intimidated Tiffany. This is for beginners as well as for people who have played with clay for some years now. I know how you must feel because I felt that same way when I joined a Polymer Clay Guild. There are so many gifted artists in our guild, but they are so supportive. I think this bunch would be too! So, enter whatever you’ve done. Remember, Cindy mentioned that this contest is not about who is the prettiest or fanciest… it is to show what we have learned and by practicing. I happen to be my worst critic. It is nice to get some comments on some of the stuff I’ve made. And most of all, I like the sharing that goes on this web site. So, start sending some of your work in! ~Lupe-M

WOW – Awesome work everyone. Congrats to all. I’m still not myself so haven’t gotten the energy to work on any beads yet. As I said before, don’t count me out yet. Gonna keep praying I will get the chance to share my work with all of you talented artists. Cindy you must feel like a pretty proud Momma right now. What an honor this will be to share my photos with all of my clay family. Thanks for the chance to do this Cindy!!!! ~Peggy-B

Wow! What gorgeous work, everybody! This is so exciting, seeing what everyone has been making! I am going to be going over these photos several times, trying to figure out my favorites. It’s also fun to see who the beads belong to. I’m pretty new around here, but I feel like I’m starting to know some of you. Now I can also get to know some of your beads! How cool is that? And there are more photos to come–this is so, so much fun… Thanks, Cindy, for this cool contest. I know that you are busier than a–well, you’re probably working 40 hours a day now, right? I know I can’t get it all together in time for this contest, but I sure hope it’s a success (I want there to be a # 2 for me to enter.) I’m feeling positive–it’s going to be a huge success! I mean, look at these beautiful beads that your students have learned to make. You, our polymer clay tutor, are one fan-tabulous teacher! Thanks so much for all that you do. ~Phaedrakat

I love everyone’s work, well done guys. You know what the best thing is? I looked through these pictures and immediately my brain started whirring away. “Wow, that’s a great idea! Maybe I could try something similar with another technique… I love those colours, how would they look as a pendant?” Thank you so much for the inspiration. :) ~Silverleaf

I too was inspired and sent some photographs to Cindy a few days ago and she told me they would be posted by Friday, Feb 5. I would probably never have had enough courage to send any photographs had Cindy not come up with this brilliant idea. And like you say I really wanted to join in the fun! I think Cindy can feel very proud looking at her students’ work which shows just what an excellent tutor she is! ~Susan-B

Cindy, I have to tell you how inspiring you are. I’m still relatively new to polymer clay. I’ve taken a magazine subscription and read everything I have time to that I find on-line, but nothing compares (at least for me) to being shown. My husband (who is my biggest fan and supporter) enjoys watching your videos along with me every week. He’s even dreaming about Premo clay :-) – Your contest gave me the incentive to try different techniques that in the past I didn’t consider. I guess it’s partly because I can’t ignore a challenge like this. That led to me realizing I should try everything you do at least once. When I first tried the Jupiter beads I couldn’t stop! I only have a few hours a day to play with my clay, but every night I found myself making more and more Jupiter beads. It became addicting. I finally forced myself to stop, for now at least, and also try the other techniques in Vol-014. I don’t think the crackled Raku bug bit me like the Jupiter beads, but I did enjoy the experience of trying to make them. Now it seems I can’t stop making the torn paper beads. You’ve definitely made this so much fun. Again, thanks for all you do for us. ~Susan-D

Cindy; You always seem to come up with bigger and better ideas. I for one would love the chance to win some of your beads. Let the fun begin. Having your beads up close and personal would be a tremendous bonus. See how you have things assembled up close would be of benefit to all who make jewelry. Tried tested methods are always the best. Looking forward to this. ~Illaya-B >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Update

Well, I got 8 out of 10. I missed knowing who was the first to invent polymer clay, and I forgot that it is Premo, not Fimo who basis their colors on traditional artist pigments. Well, I know I will always remember these things from now on!!! I feel good knowing that I remembered everything about which clays work best for what :) Good test, Cindy. I think I’ll go back and watch your Bead Making Basics Course again! I haven’t watched it for a little while, and I obviously need a tune up! ~Cindy-E >> This comment was originally posted here: How to Make Beads

Sounds like a great idea. I would never turn down the opportunity to get something from anybody in this group but to get some beads made by Cindy would be fantastic. ~Anna-S

Hi Cindy, any opportunity to win something made by you is incentive enough for me. ~Carol-C

Great idea, this is a fun way to keep motivated. ~DJ

I also agree that is a wonderful idea. Just another example of your caring and sharing on your site. I think its also another way to give those of us that need little extra nudge sometimes. ~Jackie-N

I would LOVE to be a recipient of some of your beads. To actually hold a beautiful bead that I have seen you make on a video or have seen in a picture would be wonderful! ~Kim-M

I think this is a wonderful idea, Cindy. This would give me, a somewhat new clayer, more incentive to jump in and try what I’ve learned. ~Linda-K

I think it is a great idea! Not only an inspiration and incentive, but wow the chance to win beads made by Cindy too. I would love it!! ~Tiffany-M

As for being interested in winning some of your beads, all I can saw is “where do I sign up”! I love bead exchanges because you get to see how other people take and use the clay and what they can come up with. I can only imagine that yours will be fantastic! ~Arlene-H

What a great idea! I would love the opportunity to win some of your beads, Cindy. And I think it might just be the push I need to try photographing my work. After all, my dreams of selling my jewelry online won’t be realized if I can’t show potential customers what the work looks like! Thanks to all of you who have offered tips on photographing pc jewelry — goodness knows why, but I have been afraid to even try. But with the extra incentive of winning a Cindy package… ~Sherry-L

I like the idea of taking one of your bead tutorials Cindy, and seeing what each of us could come up with as an application. Sounds like some great ideas for 2010! ~Sue-W

What a great idea, it would be wonderful to receive some of the beautiful beads we can see in your tutos and blogs and so… even if the picts and video are so perfect, to be able to feel the finish, colors and everything in real would be a dream. Thank you again for this idea, and thank you for the great work you do for us. ~Nathalie-G

Having the feeling that it would be Vol. 14, I stayed up last night watching those videos. Since I’m new I don’t have much in the way of scrap clay, but maybe some of the firmer clay would work on the jupiter beads if I don’t do much conditioning – will have to try that. I am not familiar with raku, so the faux raku was real interesting. It looks like a fun thing to try. And the watercolor beads look like fun, too. Anyway, Cindy, your purpose for this contest will definitely be met by me. I don’t think these beads would have been high on my priority list of ‘must try’ beads had it not been for this contest. Maybe I can make then all big and clunky to go on those purse charms and key rings that I’ll be making for my sale at the church. That will surely give me an idea of what people think of them. The church gets all the money from the sales, but I get the input – so it is a win/win! ~Carolyn-F

Well, I finally got my studio back (granddaughter returned to college) and I will be reviewing my Vol 14 video and go with the torn paper bead. Thanks again, Cindy, because I know that you have now taken on a bigger load than what you are already carrying to get US to practice what you Teach! Your kindness of giving us a Reward for doing that is just another sign of your generosity! You’ve made it very clear that this contest is more about each one of us than just one superstar. I hope everyone really understands your intent and not nip pick if something during this contest doesn’t going as smoothly as you plan. ~Catherine-R

Cindy, I was really nervous too about the contest and sending in pictures but as a teacher myself i know the greatest satisfaction is seeing your students putting into practice what you teach and it does not mater if there are mistakes because we’re learning. So I’m going to spend some time today making some beads. Thanks again for the teaching, encouragement and support. ~Cheryl-H

Let the fun begin!!! I can’t wait to see photos of everyone’s work — I know I will be inspired to the max from this chance to see how others have applied the techniques Cindy has taught us. For me this is almost as important as the chance to win “Cindy Beads”. ~Elizabeth-S

Okay… I’ve purchased Vol. 14, watched the vids, and I plan on making some torn watercolor beads this afternoon. And maybe some Jupiter beads. Unfortunately I don’t have the alcohol inks for the faux techniques. Whoohoo! I’m all fired up about the chance to win some of Cindy’s beauties…!!! Good luck everyone!!! :) ~Lisa-W

Wow Cindy, thanks for mentioning me and for being so nice about my beads. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has made! So far Facebook has generated quite a bit of interest… one sale, several people saying they are thinking of buying pieces as birthday presents, and one person wants an “Anna Roberts original” as he put it, he just hasn’t decided exactly what yet but it will be a custom-made piece. So yay! It’s such a boost to my confidence that people have been making nice comments as well. This whole thing has spurred me on to actually get on with finishing some pieces – I assembled 24 pendants today and have another 33 to do later. I’ve decided if I can get 60 pieces assembled, photographed and listed in my shop by the end of the weekend I’ll reward myself by ordering some more clay from Penny, and playing with the faux raku technique. ~Silverleaf

Congrats on your sale! Your execution of the watercolor beads is beautiful, Silverleaf … It is SO fun to look at all your beads on Facebook and see how someone has used the lessons we learn here. Great work!! ~Malinda-J

I am doing the happy dance too. I am so excited for you Silverleaf. The beads are really pretty. And thanks Cindy, this is going to be such a great opportunity to see others work. ~Anna-S

Too hard to pick just one so all I am going to do is wish each and everyone of us the best of luck because anyone who has found PC tutor and this blog is already a WINNER in a very big way. Thank you Cindy you have done it again!!! ~Peggy-B >> This comment was originally posted here: Win Polymer Clay Beads

Cindy…you are such a wealth of knowledge! I am following your treasure hunt…but it is taking me hours because I am so enthralled with each and every page that I am finding on your site!!! I can’t bear to go onto the next clue until I have read every word, and every link on each page! I am so excited about all that I am learning from you. My creative mind is in a whirlwind thinking of all that I am going to be able to do and make with all that I am learning from you…it is so great!!! WOW!!! ~Cindy >> This comment was originally posted here: Sanding Polymer Clay Beads

Hello Cindy, Wonderful membership campaign. I have actually been on the fence and was pleased with the complimentary volume. I am thrilled to spend time on the site and learn lots of new techniques and color combinations for the pieces I create. Again thank you for hosting such a great site. I look forward to future conversations. ~Julie >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Artist

I must admit I have not made any canes as of yet. But I do love Pansy’s I think they are one of the prettiest flowers in a garden. I would love to see you make a video of this cane. I am still having trouble using the translucent. I either use to much or not enough or something. I know I have said this before but I have really learned a lot by getting into this treasure hunt. Of course I am seeing double by the time I pull myself away from the computer. LOL And my husband thinks I left him. But it has been worth it all. You do a great job and I realy appreciate it. ~Linda >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Cane Designs

Great article Cindy! Personally I love cardstock and tile method to keep things flat and to avoid shiny spots or sometimes I’ll use printer paper if weighting it down with another tile. I’ve had mishaps with Parchment as it tends to wrinkle with heat, at least the stuff I’ve used. This treasure hunt is fun, but I don’t really need to win a treasure, you’ve got all sorts of treasures on every page! :) ~Tina >> This comment was originally posted here: Baking Flat Polymer Clay Sheets

I love your description of the sunflower against the blue sky. As a Kansas born girl, well, old lady now!, I know that sunflowers are the lifeblood for people – especially women. Where ever I have gone, moving across the Good ol’ United States, I have planted sunflowers and provided black oil sunflowers for the birds. The color palette for the petals is brilliant and so creative. Your experience in mixing the clay colors is desperately needed by me – an old lady beginner! Now i want to figure out a design incorporating the black oil sunflowers . . . so the birds have something to eat as well. Thanks for the best website on polymer clay i have ever found. At last – I am learning something. And the treasure hunt is just plain fun, although winning would be even better! ~Pamela >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Color Mixing Recipes

This treasure hunt has been so informative for this newby in clay. I have all my clay and supplies stored at my moms and on the weekends we get together and have “Clay Dates”. 4 generations of clayers. Mom, me, my daughter Jennifer and then my 2 grand daughters from my other daughter that I am raising. The prize would be a wonderful tool to teach the girls, 6 and 4. Thank you again. ~Jeanie >> This comment was received via email.

Cindy, I’ll be the first one to tell you that I like tests, etc. like this. I got a score of 8, but now I’m cross-eyed. Guess it’s time for bed. THANKX as always for making it fun. ~Darinder >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Color Quiz

I got six out of ten right, too! I know I’ll be watching the video course again soon! :-) In my defense though, I’ve been concentrating on my flower petal beads and experimenting with Premo, Fimo and Kato translucent clays. Each one is unique and they each seem to react differently with different flowers. This was a great quiz though, Cindy! Thank you! ~Marsha >> This comment was originally posted here: How To Make Beads

This was a fun exercise and also very thought provoking. It made me realize how fortunate and lucky I have been in my life. Thank you for taking me to that moment of realization. Cindy teaches the “between-the-lines” information that you don’t get when reading an instruction book. Cindy makes sure that every detail of the subject matter she is focusing is addressed, and made to understand. Not only that, but her videos are a really good quality, which makes watching them an effortless and seamless experience. The lighting in her videos is always right-on, and the angles at which she tapes what she is so eloquently teaching is very thoughtful and conducive to the viewer’s learning experience. I can not say enough for Cindy’s videos, and I know that I will continue to learn from Cindy as she puts out more video sets. See for yourselves!!! You can’t go wrong if you purchase these videos!!! Give yourself a great gift, and get them :) Sincerely, a very happy Cindy Lietz fan and follower. PS…NO…Cindy Lietz did not know I was going to write any of this :) ~Cindy @ Beaded Polymer Clay Jewelry

OK, in addition to being a guru, color genius, you must also be a mind-reader. I have just made my first beads with polymer clay and have already wondered, a couple of times, if I really needed to sand them. Since I am lying in bed, right now, doing the treasure hunt and my wonderful, yet exhausted husband is asleep and has to get up and work tomorrow, I am going to have to wait until the a.m. to sand, but trust me, it will be number one on my to do list, right after my coffee! Thanks. ~Karen @ Sand Your Polymer Clay Beads

Some have made me laugh. I am really enjoying this treasure hunt. I like to make small figures and I try to sand the spots that I can but I must tell you it is not one of my favorite thing to do. I am just now getting into making beads. I have noticed a real big difference in the look of beads when I take the time to sand and buff. Buffing is another problem area for me. I haven’t had the problem that Sue had but I am a little afraid of my dremel tool also. ~Linda @ Sanding Polymer Clay Beads

I finished, and thoroughly enjoyed the treasure hunt. I learned so much today along the way! I found many pages that I had not seen before, and I had to read them all! I just love all of your blog. You can be sure that I will be coming back many more times to learn all that I can from your experiences in Polymer Clay… and just having fun reading your writings as well! Thank you for sharing your great talent!!! PS I thought it was really cool when I saw your post on the Wet Canvas web site in the clay section. I thought, hey! I know who Cindy Lietz is!!!
